OUR STORY
Susan Ellman and Ellen Davis began FruitFlowers™ in
1984, as a cottage industry in their own kitchens. Quick
acceptance and tremendous demand blew them out of their
home kitchens and into a workshop location within the year.
For Ellman and Davis, the fruit bouquet started out as
a fun addition to any party and quickly became their livelihood.
They had created not just a product, not just a company,
but also an entire industry that would come to fruition
a decade later. FruitFlowers™ can now be found not
only at parties, but also on desks, conferences tables,
in hospital rooms, or nurse’s stations. With more
franchises opening every year, these aromatic, juicy, incredible,
healthy alternatives to regular flowers are sent with love
nationwide for birthdays, holidays, thank you’s,
and condolences.

Once the product was born, word
of FruitFlowers™ spread far and wide. Customer demand
for the product encouraged the company to develop their concept
in the franchise market. In a carefully orchestrated slow-growth
plan, Incredible Franchise Corporation was formed. The first
franchise location opened in September 1993, in Westville,
New Jersey, with plans to bring on one new location per year.
However, FruitFlowers™ could not keep up with nationwide
customer demand without more locations.
With a revised business growth plan, Incredible Franchise
Corporation has targeted cities (note: link to target cities/areas)
for development, but still welcomes interest in all areas
for a natural organic growth. Today, as many as one FruitFlowers™ franchise
per month is opening across North America! While Incredible
Franchise Corporation knows that there is great demand for
unique and creative gifts all over the US and Canada, there
are a limited number of franchises available to avoid over
saturation in the market. As you may have guessed by now,
interest in FruitFlowers™ has been expressed worldwide.

INVESTMENT
Franchise Fee ($35,000)
The Franchise fee provides you with 2 weeks of training at our Philadelphia
based facility. During this training period, you will learn the art
of creating our unique arrangements. Instruction will also include
operations management training in the areas of: customer service, sales
management, purchasing of supplies, delivery system organization. You
will be able to take home with you the recommendations for hiring of
personnel, a grand opening advertising plan and marketing strategies
to develop your new gift business. After your location is ready to
open, additional on site training is completed and includes facility
and kitchen set up, staff interviews and making sure that you are ready
for business.

How do I find my franchise location?
One of the most important issues is location. While most of our sites
have been located by the Franchisee, we help to evaluate the site’s
accessibility to major roads for deliveries as well as its ability to
meet our criteria for success. We recommend doing a site development
search by contacting local real estate and development companies to ascertain
the current rents and availability.
How many employees will I need to operate a franchise?
We feel it is important for our Franchise Partners to be hands-on owners/operators
to be successful. You will need staffing to accommodate production, order
taking and delivery. Including yourself, you will need a basic staff
of 5 people to begin operation.
Is my territory protected?
Absolutely! Each franchise is given an exclusive territory in which no
other franchise will be awarded.
How do I get started?
The first step in becoming a FruitFlowers franchise is to complete the
qualification application. (link here). Once you have passed our initial
screening, we will invite you to visit us at one of our upcoming Discovery
Days (link to calendar events) at our corporate offices in Suburban Philadelphia.
Then you will meet key members of our staff and tour two local stores.
Lunch with our co-Founders and an opportunity to discuss your qualifications
and why you should be awarded an exclusive territory for your own FruitFlowers
franchise.
